Colorful Ceramic Fantasies & Mythical Muses
Colorful Ceramic Fantasies & Mythical Muses
My work is inspired by dream, myth, and story. After studying mythology with an emphasis in depth psychology, my sculpture and functional pots deal with the struggles and the joys in living a mindful, productive, and satisfying life. For me the ceramic art-making process is a soul-making process that the pieces reflect. The work proceeds, tumbling and dancing, while honoring the messages from the unconscious through interpretation and active imagination.
